On the evening of October 22nd, as an important event of the 17th (2024) China International Public Security Products Expo and Intelligent and Security Industry Development Conference (hereinafter referred to as the Security Expo), the China Security Night was successfully held in Beijing.  


Gu Jianguo, President of CSPIA, delivered a speech on behalf of the organizing committee of this year's Security Expo for the Security Night event. He pointed out that in recent years, the security industry has experienced the test of external market cycle fluctuations and low internal demand fluctuations. The majority of security enterprises have improved their quality and efficiency through digital transformation, and promoted industrial transformation and upgrading through technological innovation, providing strong support and guarantee for the modernization of national governance and the well-being of the people. In the future, with the iteration and evolution of cutting-edge technologies such as new generation artificial intelligence, the innovation and development of the security industry will be promoted, and the deep integration of digital economy and real economy, coupled with the rise of emerging overseas markets, the security industry under the background of building a large security pattern will usher in broader prospects and development space. He hopes that the entire industry will forge ahead, strengthen collaborative innovation, and contribute the wisdom and strength of security personnel to building a safer, smarter, and better society.

In order to actively promote the development of artificial intelligence and large model technology, in mid August 2024, ISAR and the China Artificial Intelligence Industry Development Alliance (AIIA) launched the collection activity of 2024AIIA Pioneer Case "AI+Security" Special Case. On the security night, Tan Xiaozhun, Vice Chairman of CSPIA announced the list of special cases and jointly awarded certificates to the top ten benchmark case units with Li Dewen, Secretary of the Discipline Inspection Commission of the China Academy of Information and Communications Technology.

In order to promote the digital transformation of enterprises and accelerate the in-depth implementation of the construction of "Digital China" and "Higher Level Safe China", CSPIA decided to prepare for the National Security Enterprise Digital Transformation Promotion Center at the National Security Enterprise Digital Transformation Promotion Conference held in Huzhou, Zhejiang in June 2024. At the Security Night event, Wang Nan, Secretary General of the China Security Association, and Zhao Yonghua, Secretary General of the Zhejiang Security Association, unveiled the plaque for the Promotion Center, which was officially established.

CSPIA attaches great importance to group standard work and has actively promoted the development of relevant standards since the start of group standard work in 2018. In order to fully leverage the advantages of social organizations and continuously strengthen the construction of group standardization system, this event held the CSPIA 2024 project group standard launch ceremony. Chen Chaowu, vice chairman of the China Association for Security and chairman of the Standardization Work Committee, and representatives of standards undertaking units such as Tianyi Digital Life, Yushi Technology, the Quality Inspection Center of Security and Police Electronic Products of the Ministry of Public Security (Beijing), Zhongan Tiantian, and Shuntian Longxing jointly launched the development of five standards, including the Smart Home System Home edge computing Gateway.

The vocational skills competition is a major institutional design and innovation in China's vocational training. Since 2022, the China Association of Industry and Commerce and the China Employment Training Technical Guidance Center have jointly successfully held two national industry vocational skills competitions. In order to stimulate the enthusiasm of front-line professionals in the security industry to improve their skills and better serve the industry, the 2024 National Industry Vocational Skills Competition - the Third National Data Security Vocational Skills Competition and the Third National Security Industry Vocational Skills Competition Kick off Meeting was held at the event. Liu Xiaojing, Vice President of CSPIA, launched the security industry vocational skills competition together with relevant principals of SDIC Intelligence (Xiamen) Information Co., Ltd., Beijing Orient Guoxin Technology Co., Ltd., Inspur Yunzhou Industrial Internet Co., Ltd., Tianjin Huada Technology Co., Ltd., Jiangxi Longxing UAV Technology Co., Ltd. and Beijing Jingdong Century Information Technology Co., Ltd.

Currently, Chinese security companies are rapidly entering the international market and becoming an important force in promoting the development of the global security industry. In order to build a docking platform for high-quality security manufacturers, products, technologies, and solutions to "go global" and "bring in", a special signing ceremony for the 2024 Security Expo Memorandum of Understanding was held at the event. Secretary General Wang Nan signed the Memorandum of Understanding with Member of Parliament Joshua Thomas, President of the Singapore Security Association, Mr. Jason Kulek, President of the Singapore Integrated Security Systems Association, Dr. Dipankur Mittal, President of the Indian Security Association, and Mr. Yang Yanfeng, President of the Thai Security Association.

In order to further promote the digital transformation of the security industry, promote the application of security technology products in more fields, meet the scenario application needs of related industries, and help enterprises establish brand image, CSPIA organized the "2024 Security Industry Excellent Solution" evaluation and recommendation work nationwide from April to August 2024, recommending 144 excellent solutions from 118 enterprises. To reward excellence and stimulate industry innovation enthusiasm, the "2024 Excellent Solutions for the Security Industry" award ceremony was held at this event.

Since the establishment of the "China International Public Safety Products Expo" Innovation Product Award in 2006, the event has been held for eight consecutive years and has won widespread support and high recognition from enterprises. A total of 132 exhibiting companies and 286 products participated in the innovative product application activity at this expo. After online initial evaluation and on-site expert re evaluation, 5 products won the "Major Industry Innovation Contribution Award", 16 products won the "Excellent Innovative Product Special Award", and 41 products won the "Excellent Innovative Product Award".
