The opening ceremony of the 17th (2024) China International Public Security Products Expo and Intelligent and Security Industry Development Conference (hereinafter referred to as the Security Expo), which will last for four days, is held here. The opening ceremony was presided over by Wang Nan, Secretary General of the China Security and Prevention Products Industry Association (CSPIA).

At the beginning of the opening ceremony, Secretary General Wang Nan, on behalf of the China Security Association, warmly welcomes and sincerely thanks the leaders, guests, and exhibitor representatives who attended the ceremony, as well as government management departments, industry organizations, local associations, colleagues from all walks of life who care about and support the development of China's security industry, and international peers!

Representatives from the national public security system, government departments, industry associations, security industry enterprises, international friends, presidents and secretaries general of security associations in Beijing, Tianjin, Inner Mongolia, Liaoning, Shanghai, Zhejiang, Anhui, Fujian, Hubei, Guangdong, Xinjiang, Shenzhen, Wuhan, Chengdu, Jinan, former leaders of the China Security Association, as well as leaders and experts from science and technology information departments and technical defense management departments of public security bureaus in various provinces, autonomous regions, and municipalities directly under the central government attended the opening ceremony.

Gu Jianguo, Director of the Organizing Committee of this year's Security China and Chairman of CSPIA, introduced the theme, forum activities, and highlights of the exhibition area in his speech. He pointed out that after more than 30 years of rapid development, China's security industry has effectively supported various construction projects such as safe cities, social governance, and serving people's livelihoods, empowering the application of various scenarios in thousands of industries, and contributing security wisdom and strength to deepening global public safety governance. In the face of new changes and challenges in recent years, the security industry should follow the requirements of the Third Plenary Session of the 20th Central Committee of the Communist Party of China to further comprehensively deepen reforms, implement the overall national security concept, build a higher level of safe China, enhance the ability to maintain national security, innovate social governance, and effectively construct a new security pattern. He hopes that exhibitors and users from all walks of life can make full use of the Security Expo platform, promote technological exchanges, enhance trade relations, strengthen mutual cooperation, and jointly promote technological progress, industrial upgrading, and market prosperity in China's security industry.
